I once heard someone say, “You have to respect your profession—that’s what it means to be a true professional!” I went from being a professional design director to a professional dog trainer; starting anew in Hong Kong, I traveled to Laos, France, and back to Laos, constantly learning different professional dog training methods from around the world. Since returning to Hong Kong, I’ve continued to improve myself and put what I’ve learned into practice—not only to help every dog and every owner, but also to live up to the meaning of the word “professional”!
Design and dog training may seem completely unrelated, but the core of professionalism is the same: passion and respect for one’s work, a commitment to detail, and a sense of responsibility for the results. Design involves creating something from nothing to produce a satisfying piece of work; dog training involves using patience and love to raise a calm, well-mannered dog that knows how to get along with people. Both require creativity, communication, and a spirit of continuous learning—and above all, a sense of responsibility.
True training is never about subduing a dog; it’s about listening, understanding, and communicating. Every dog’s bark, struggle, fear, and anxiety has an underlying reason—they don’t misbehave for no reason; they simply don’t know how to express their emotions in a way humans understand. I look forward to helping every owner build a more comfortable and intimate relationship with their dog, fostering mutual trust. May every effort I make help more dogs be truly understood, treated with kindness, and enjoy a life that is safe, relaxed, and happy.
I’m grateful that through dog training, I’ve been able to become a friend to every dog owner and help dogs learn and grow in a relaxed and joyful way. I’m committed to helping and sharing with all dog owners so that their dogs can grow up healthy and happy! I deeply understand that respecting this profession means respecting the value of every life and honoring the beautiful relationship between humans and animals—that is what true professionalism is all about!
About Dogvolution
Dogvolution was founded in the Southern District of Hong Kong Island and is the first pet service provider in the district to be officially granted an “BOARDING ESTABLISHMENT LICENSE” by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. We do more than just provide services for dogs; we are a warm haven filled with love and peace of mind, designed exclusively for them.
Founded by individuals holding professional dog trainer certifications recognized both in Hong Kong and internationally, our mission is to provide a place that feels just like home—where dogs can relax, enjoy their stay, and learn and grow. We aim to support and share our expertise with dog owners, helping their dogs grow up healthy and happy, integrate seamlessly into human society, and enjoy a fulfilling life as dogs.
From the moment we began operating under a valid license, we have shouldered a heavy responsibility. We strictly adhere to rigorous official regulations, dedicating ourselves to creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Through attentive care and meticulous attention, we ensure that every dog temporarily separated from its owner can enjoy a carefree and joyful stay. At the same time, we allow every owner temporarily separated from their pet to go about their daily lives and journeys with peace of mind, free from worry or concern.
In addition to professional and legally compliant pet boarding services, we are also dedicated to providing pet grooming and professional dog training services. We understand that the best pet care is never a cold, impersonal process—it’s about treating every furry friend as if they were our own, cherishing and protecting them.
Moving forward, we will remain true to our original mission: to be the most trusted guardian of pet families in the Southern District, accompanying every furry friend as they grow up healthy and happy, and cherishing every heartwarming moment between pets and their owners.
On the other hand, Dogvolution has always been a strong supporter of adoption initiatives. Guided by the philosophy of “treating life with kindness,” we periodically reach out to various stray dog shelters to collaborate, striving to help these stray dogs receive better care and complete their own “evolution” in life.
Many stray dogs have been wandering the streets for a long time without regular grooming; their fur becomes matted and dirty, and their bodies easily accumulate dust and bacteria. Some dogs, due to their past experiences, may be timid, wary, or exhibit behavioral issues, which can deter many potential adopters. In light of this, Dogvolution offers free grooming and training services specifically for unadopted stray dogs.
